Well, that was nice now wasn't it? I mean, I didn't watch the whole game due to prior obligations, but 2 PP goals on the road and a shootout win with Niklas Backstrom in net? It doesn't get much better than that now does it?

Yeah, it probably does get better than that. A road win is a road win though. It's not like I'm willing to give the 2 points back because of poor play or poor coaching decisions.

Now, In Mike Yeo's defense, he was playing with a short bench all night. He already would have been having SFB in the lineup, but Jared Spurgeon would miss the game due to mumps an unknown illness which only exacerbated the situation.

Life on the road doesn't get any easier as your Minnesota Wild will be headed for their first matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks Tuesday night, followed by welcoming the Boston Bruins to the X on Wednesday and then we get to see the Nashville Predators for the first time this season on Friday. You want to see how this team stacks up against some of the top level squads in the league? This is your week kids.

Well, that's about all I got for you this morning kids. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Keller Williams
