Wilderness Walk: Groundhog's Day Edition

Will that giant ground rat see his shadow and thus bring in 6 more weeks of hard winter? Does any of that really matter or actually mean anything?

Okay, campers, rise and shine, and don't forget your booties 'cause it's cooooold out there today!

The Wild have spent much of January living in Bill Murray's 1993 movie Groudhogs Day hell. A lot of the same repeated effort, slight variations in results. The Wild dropped one to the recently surging Calgary Flames last night after 2 periods of very little effort, a 3rd period surge which did gain them a precious point in the standings. Eventually though Calgary proved victorious and we are left to wake up this morning to the same Sonny and Cher song again.

Some other league is playing a pretty big game today as well, if you're into that sort of thing.
