Gamethread: Wild @ Bruins Game 69

Wild hit the road in Beam-Town, a home away from home.

Hannah Foslien

Tonight the Minnesota Wild are in Bawstin to square off with the Bruins. Minnesota is an all-time 10-1-0 against Boston, and are 6-0-0 at TC Bank Garden. Shootouts have stunk, BIG TIME, as the the Wild have dropped their last 3 of 4 via shootout. After facing one of the best in the business in Sergei Bobrovsky, the Wild will have their handful once again in Tuka Rask despite the success in Boston.

Through 67 games, Minnesota has 80 points, a franchise record surpassing the 79 points it earned in 2007-08 (37-25 5) and 2006-07 (36-24-7). Minnesota has earned points in 10 of its last 11 games (6-1-4) and 15 of its last 18 games (10-3-5), dating back to Jan. 16. With the season winding down, the wild own a 5 games lead over the 8th spot in the west, and will need start getting two point to lock up the 7th seed.
