Good morning Wilderness. The Minnesota Wild earned themselves an impressive victory over the Detroit Red Wings in Motown last night. They battled back from 2 first period goals from Gustav Nyquist of the Wings to win 4-3 in overtime. They avoided a shootout when Matt Moulson tipped in a shot from Jonas Brodin in the overtime period and walked out of Joe Louis Arena with a very valuable 2 points.
The Wild welcome the Vancouver Canucks to St. Paul on Wednesday. The Canucks just got Ryan Kesler and Daniel Sedin back with the team again after injuries sidelined both of them, but Henrik Sedin went down in the second period of the Canucks game yesterday and his status remains in question for their upcoming road trip.
