Preview: Blues @ Wild Game 65

Trying to shake off Saturdays gut punch, the Wild return home to welcome St. Louis

Thomas B. Shea

Okay, lets just forget about last night. Tonight the Wild welcome western conference juggernaut, the St. Louis Blues. The Blues are currently one point out of the top spot in the west, and have lost just 14 games in regulation this season. St. Louis has gotten the best of the Wild twice this year. Lines are looking mostly the same tonight, other than McCormick taking Fontaine's spot on the 4th line. Kyle Broadziak was dynamite last night, connecting on two goals, that's not a typo. On back-back games the Wild is 3-6-0 on the first night and 3-4-1 on the second night.

The Wild begin a four-game homestand, and having won the last six at the X is a good sign that a little home-cooking is all we need to forget about last night. Kuemper saw 38 shots last night having stopped 34 of them. All indications are he'll be back between the pipes once again tonight in St. Paul

Puck drop in St. Paul at 7:00 and the game can be watched on Fox Sports North and heard on 100.3 FM KFXN in the Twin Cities.
