Wilderness Walk: Game-Day Edition

New, comments

Tonight we have a double feature for you Minnesota hockey fans out there. The Minnesota Wild will exchange pleasantries with the St. Louis Blues and the University of Minnesota will kick off their NCAA Frozen Four campaign against the University of North Dakota.

What an exciting day WIlderness! Your Minnesota Wild have clinched their second consecutive playoff berth and take to the ice tonight to defend the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul from the St. Louis Blues, and if that is not enough hockey for you sports fans, we've got more! The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers and the University of North Dakota somebodies kick off their bids for an NCAA National Championship by rekindling an electric rivalry.

"But wait! We need more!"

Well kids, from the sounds of it we will likely see the NHL debut of undrafted rookie free agent recently signed to the Wild Christian Folin. Not that I want to start looking ahead to next season anytime soon, but this will give us a good glimpse of what this kid can do for us next season.

Just an all-around great day to be a hockey fan in Minnesota today. Now if you'll excuse me, I must get back to refreshing the tracking page for my new phone which will be arriving today!
