Wilderness Walk: Going Home Edition

The first of those two home playoff games are going to happen tomorrow night.

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sport

It's hard even to get mad. Up and down that lineup that Blackhawks team is just so good. It's ridiculous.

But in fairness, that's exactly what people were saying about Nathan MacKinnon's line after Games 1 and 2 on Monday. And look what happened there.

I'm not saying the Wild are going to triumph over the Blackhawks- that was a tall order not even one of the best teams in the league (St. Louis) weren't able to accomplish. But the Wild will be able to have last change, so they've got their match-ups against Chicago. We'll see if that can work against a team as deep and skilled as Chicago. Winning two games would be huge for the organization- it represents progress from last year, and it gives poor Craig Leopold another home playoff game. Hopefully, he'll be able to make some money off this team.

On to the Walk.
