Good morning Wilderness! Welcome to your final Sunday before your favorite team reports to training camp. We are literally on the cusp of kicking off another season. It won't be long now before your Minnesota Wild will be dropping the puck on their 14th year in the NHL.

But lets talk about today's headline, hockey player names. There are so many great names out there, but which is the best? Now I'm sure everyone has their own, and there is nothing wrong with that. Personally, I'm very fond of Kari Takko. For the younger generation who may have never heard of him, Kari Takko was a Finnish goalie who played 6 NHL seasons. From 1985 to 1991 he guarded the pipes for the Minnesota North Stars before (and he must have really pissed somebody off) being traded to the Edmonton Oilers where he finished the season, and his career. Poor guy. I'd probably retire after playing in Edmonton too.
