Zach Parise was back at practice which is great news for the Wild. Marco Scandella is rumored to be ready to play tonight. Nashville is still one of the best stories this season and their head coach has been selected as one of the All-Star game coaches.
Pretty tough goings on around here after the Wild had such lofty expectations. The best hope for Minnesota is to play the game like they played the other night against Chicago. The Wild had controlled play for most of the game and the goaltending let them down. I'm getting to the point where I think they just need to keep playing that high possession game and just hope that their goalie is on that night. Basically force the netminders to figure it out. If they lose because the goaltending was poor, but they dominated possession, out-shot the opponent, and limited the shots against, then so be it. At least it was an entertaining game, rather than this lifeless, sloppy, out-of-position, trying to protect the goalie, kind of play that started this downward spiral.
But for now, we Walk.

Minnesota Wild need an upgrade at goaltender | For The Win
Jhonas Enroth and Cam Ward have been rumored as being available via trade. Frankly, Cam Ward does nothing for me and I'm tired of giving Buffalo picks and players for their players in the case of Enroth.
