Wilderness Walk: Game Day Edition

What a stinker ...

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

Another game, another loss. Thus is the life of your Minnesota Wild this season. It's one that has been filled with turmoil, injury, illness, and loss. It's a lot for a team to bite off, and while most of those should not be considered excuses, they are factors that have led this season down a road of shattered expectations.

So the Wild are effectively out of it. Last place in Conference III, 8 points out of a playoff spot halfway through the season in a very tough Western Conference. It's not over, but it's over.

The Wild are in Chicago tonight, puck drops at 7.

Yup, that's about how I feel. If you're going to make that pass, at least make it off Rhinne. Take the shot, keep it low and try to get it off Rhinne's leg. Parise is right there for the rebound. It's not 100%, but neither is a blind pass.
