Wilderness Walk: 0 down, 82 to go Edition

That's it kids. The preseason is over. The next time we meet for a game, it will be for real.

Marilyn Indahl-USA TODAY Sports

That's it folks. The preseason for your Minnesota Wild is over. The finished off the preseason with a 4-2-0 record. Not terribly bad, but certainly nothing to get exited over. If waiting for the preseason to start was tough, you're really not going to like the next 7 days as we wait for the real games to kick off.

The Wild kick off the regular season October 8th against the Colorado Avalanche. If that feels like deja-vu all over again, it's because it's pretty close to being the case. Last year the Wild opened their season on October 9th, at home against the Avs. As I recall that game turned out pretty well (5-0 victory).

So, we got some time to kill. What do you guys and gals want to talk about? Food? The weather? Golf?
