The Wild found a way to hold on against the young team from Edmonton as the Wild blue line broke their relative scoring silence in big way.  Ryan Suter and Marco Scandella got their first goals of the season and Charlie Coyle scored 43 seconds before Ryan Suter in the 3rd period for a comeback win.  The only goal scored by the Wild defense previously came from Matt Dumba, so it was some much welcomed offense from the back end.

The Wild now have two days to prepare for a tough back-to-back against Chicago at the X on Friday and the Blues in St. Louis on Saturday.  The Goaltenders will each see a game as Darcy Kuemper looks to shake off a poor showing in Winnipeg that was not entirely his fault.  Dubnyk found another way to win tonight, and one might wonder if he would start in St. Louis, as his record against them in a Wild jersey is stellar.  But the Wild may want to put their best foot forward with the team that methodically bounced them from last year's playoffs, so it will be an interesting story to keep tabs on.

Today's musical selection is from another local favorite and amazing talent, Heatbox.  You can find him around the Twin Cities pretty often.  We Walk.
