Did you let doubt creep in last night? Were you one of the many, many people who took up arms on social media demanding justice for the Wild coming out completely flat footed to start the season? Did you, stop believin'? I wouldn't blame you. I mean, I would blame you if you were ready to pack it in for the season after just 40 minutes of hockey. That would just be ridiculous!
So that was one hell of a 3rd period now wasn't it? How about that Zach Parise kid? He's pretty good at the hockey and notched his first hat-trick in a Wild uniform in an amazing come from behind victory over the wayward Colorado Avalanche. I can tell you though, as much fun as it was is to have hockey back, if this team is going to play all 82 games like they did last night they will indeed give me a heart attack and simultaneous stroke. Hopefully they got that out of their system last night and we can move on to some regular games now.
