Wilderness Walk: Gotta Stay Positive Edition

Good news today.

Marilyn Indahl-USA TODAY Sports

The Wild beat the Predators, 4-0. Mikko Koivu played in his 700th game, and it was a great one. Ryan Suter scored his first goal against his old team. Jonas Brodin scored his first goal of the season. Zach Parise skated with the team, and seems on track to return soon. Jason Zucker is actually fine. Really. Nate Prosser punched James Neal in the face, which is an example of Nate Prosser being useful, which isn't something that always happens. I'm sure I could think of something negative to say if I thought about it longer, but I don't want to, and today is not the right moment for an extended critique of Mikael Granlund's hair — he had a goal and an assist and played very well. Vanek had a good night. It was swell.

Today's soundtrack is a song from a musical as interpreted by the legendary Nina Simone.
