Hey, everyone!

There's going to be plenty of time for you to read about the Wild's loss against Vancouver last night ahead. I'll start out your day with a little bit of happiness.

Thanksgiving is here, and I don't think I have to tell you that Thanksgiving is about food giving thanks, so I'm going to do what everyone else is doing and make a quick Wild-related list of things I'm thankful for. If you want to add anything, leave it in the comments.

  • Devan Dubnyk, for being a bad-ass, season-saving goalie.
  • Matt Dumba, for his boundless enthusiasm, and his amazing clap-bombs.
  • Ryan Suter, for being worth every penny this season.
  • Jason Zucker, for becoming one of the deadliest scorers in the league.
  • Mikko Koivu, for returning to First-Line Center™ status.
  • Jared Spurgeon, for continuing to be brilliant despite almost no recognition for how amazing he is.
  • Charlie Coyle, for his growing into a viable center.
  • Nino Niederreiter, for bringing energy and excitement to the ice every shift.
  • Thomas Vanek, for shutting everyone up.
  • My writers, for being a collection of really smart, thoughtful, and nice people. Whether it's on here, on the podcast, or in person, I've had nothing but positive experiences with all of you. The same applies to the vast majority of the Minnesota Wild blogosphere/Twittersphere. It's a pleasure working with you all.
  • You, the readers! We exist because of you. Win or lose, you're here, discussing, debating, joking, GIF-posting. My job doesn't enable me to be as active in the comments as I'd like (I have to sleep in the mornings), but I enjoy reading what you have to say when I wake up. Thanks for reading, and thanks for adding to the discussion.
With all that out of the way, let's go to the Walk. And if you haven't yet, check out this week's Hockey Wilderness Podcast: "Nate Prosser = Cranberry Sauce"

NHL -- A brief history of the NHL pretending to fix scoring- I guess I don't really have a problem with the goal-scoring in the NHL. Granted, I've never been in the days where scoring was up, but I'd rather see a 3-2 game than an 8-4 one, so long as there are still plenty of scoring chances.
