See what happened over the weekend and get prepared for what comes next.

The Wild play the Stars tonight, and I have nothing to say about that, because I was raise that if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. Most of the time I don't listen to that, but I don't have enough energy to be as mean as I would want. Head over to Defending B D for the enemy perspective.

It's Monday, and that's inherently a bummer, so here is a sad song for your Monday morning.

This was on the radio yesterday, and my mother told me that before every game the Minnesota Wild stand in a circle and sing this song. This is an example of why you shouldn't trust things my mother says.

Wild News

Wild prep for two of NHL's hottest teams over next two days - TwinCities.com Stuff is happening before the Christmas break.

Coyle excelling in all areas — except goal-scoring - StarTribune.com Key line: "Right now, the 23-year-old is a flirt." This is exactly what I want to see from my sports reporting.

The most exciting Wild news of the day is that defensechild Matt Dumba has joined Twitter. His first contribution was documenting his adventure dressing up as Santa and skating with kids for Defending the Blue Line, and yes, it is as cute as you're imaging.
