Minnesota looks to continues its dominance of Colorado.

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Tonight the Minnesota Wild are in Mile High Hockey territory looking to add its win column. The Wild have won all three meetings against the Avalanche this season and Colorado has yet to score a goal against Minnesota this season. If the Wild can post a 4th shutout, they'll be the first NHL team to do so since 1928. Colorado is on the heels of a back-back after defeating Dallas last night. The Avs are 5-2-0 in their last seven games and are 7-3-0 in its last 10 home games.

Devan Dubnyk will start for the 20th time tonight, which ties the team record which was previously held by Niklas Backstrom. Dubnyk is 9-5-1 with a 2.09 GAA, a .936 SV% and two shutouts in 16 starts against Colorado in his career. Minnesota has allowed 31 total goals while going 14-3-2 in its 19 games since acquiring Devan Dubnyk. In the Wild’s 19 previous games before the trade, Minnesota allowed 73 goals, which was dead-last in the NHL in that span. Soooooo yeah. Dubnyk has been alright filling in.

The Wild are 21-12-5 against the west, earning points in 12 of its last 14 games (11-2-1). We wont know any line changes until later today if there are any. Nino Niederreiter had a great game last time out scoring two goals after being paired with Charlie Coyle and Jordan Schroeder. Its a late start in Colorado tonight as its a 9:00 puck drop. Check back at 8:45 for the gamethread. Go Wild!
