Things do not look good for the Wild, who are not only down 0-3 and on the verge of elimination, but are also not feeling much confidence in their ability to finish against the Blackhawks. The Wild have generated more than their share of scoring chances, but cannot put the puck in the net. They have dug themselves in a deep, deep hole and will face elimination each game they play. It will take nothing short of a miracle for the Wild to advance.
But many in the Wilderness remember the same feeling in the pit of our stomachs in January, when many gave up on the season and declared it over. That feeling was dispelled with the arrival of Devan Dubnyk, and the team they became is the type of team that had the potential to climb out of this hole. The only way they can have hope is to transform themselves overnight back into that team. Mike Yeo said it all, "We came back from the dead once before this season. And the only way we did that was with character and belief."
Some will have hope, some will have doom and gloom. No matter what happens, we will Walk:
