Free Agency opened with a flurry, where did your favorite players land?

Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

Free Agency opened at 11am CST and did not disappoint fans expecting a flurry of activity.  Even in a down FA market, big names still got moved in trades and it appears that many teams will have much different looks when the 2015-16 season begins.  Your Minnesota Wild nabbed their 2nd priority target in Mikael Granlund for 2 yrs @ $3M AAV and added NHL depth signings in Ryan Carter and a surprise 2 yr deal for Nate Prosser.  The remaining RFAs Haula and Folin will be next on GMCF's list, though they have already been tendered qualifying offers and will be back.  Look for the Wild to continue to sign depth players to 2-way deals to shore up the depleted and new-look Iowa Wild.

There's tons to get to today, and we've included lots of links to FA overviews from various sources, but we'll continue to do further break-down analysis from a Wild perspective as the dust settles, so stay tuned.  Today's music is an ode to all the guys who inked their deals for 2015-16 and beyond.  Walk with me.
