Looks like Golden Gopher forward Amanda Kessel won't be lacing up the skates again for at least the 2015-16 season (her senior year), thus marking the end of her college career. Kessel sustained a concussion during her time with the U.S. Olympic Team and sat out last season as well with concussion-like symptoms, watching her team win its third NCAA national championship in four years. She also withdrew from classes for the year. This is a sad state of things for an immensely talented hockey player. Here's hoping she can at least go back to living a normal life, if not playing hockey.
