Wilderness Walk: on the Ocean

Step on the stones.

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning Wilderness Walkers!

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. If you're in Minnesota, and you're reading this before work, call in sick. Normally I don't advocate for playing hooky but from the looks of it, we're in for a real treat weather wise today. Try to make the most of it!

They say no news is good news. Well, no news has led us to an arbitration hearing for Erik Haula this morning. The two sides could not come to an agreement so one will be presented to them by a third party. If you are reading this right away at 8 am, the hearing should have already started. With the news being pretty light around the rest of the NHL, at least we have something to look forward to today. I wouldn't expect a big media scrum or anything.
