It's been mighty warm in the State of Hockey this week. It's a little tough to believe that as the sweat trickles off your brow, the NHL season trickles ever closer. Personally, I'm a little sick of talking about how close the season is getting. I'd much rather have the season here now, but we take what we can get I suppose.

As we inch closer to hockey, we continue to drive through our #T25U25 series. Coming up today we feature ....

Well, you'll just have to come back later to find out who grabbed the #16 spot in our rankings.

News is a little light today, but things should start picking up as players start reporting in for camp in the coming week or so. Something to maybe keep your eyes peeled for today is Wild goalie Niklas Backstrom will be meeting with the team doctors today to see how he's progressing after elbow surgery this summer which conveniently prevented the Wild from buying him out of his contract. If he's cleared to play, the Wild will likely start the season with 3 net minders on the roster. If he isn't, there is a wide range of options for the Wild which I'm not going to explain here, but Russo does in the links below.

Speaking of links, lets get to those. First though, a little auditory nirvana for you kind folks!
