Tonight the Minnesota Wild return to St. Paul from their west coast road trip to host the Arizona Coyotes. The wild have allowed the fewest third period goals all season but the wind has been let out of the sails in their last few losses. After giving up the game winning goal with ninety seconds left to San Jose, Minnesota missed out on getting at least a point. Same look for the Wild tonight but Devan Dubnyk will start between the pipes. Minnesota has been getting some production from their grinders lately with Jarret Stoll and Erik Haula providing some offense. Stoll was even sent out for the last shift for an offensive-zone draw against San Jose. Charlie Coyle also continues to have an excellent season with a goal in two straight games which has set a new career high. Coyle and Mikko Koivu are sizzling when together, look for Yeo to continue to trot out that line a lot tonight.
Arizona is tied for third place in the Pacific division and just snapped a four-game losing streak on Saturday night. Louis Domingue has been rock solid between the pipes and at the ripe age of 23. Arizona currently ranks 26 in goals against but that is a little inflated considering Mike Smith and Andres Lindback have been horrible all season. Dominque isn't the only rookie enjoying a nice season, Anthony Duclair has also has nice debut scoring 12 goals this season.
ARI leads the NHL with a 53.7 FO% and its 1,558 total FOW rank 4th in the League.
The Wild, 0-3-1 at home this month and 2-5-1 in its past eight home games.
Minnesota is 8-1-1 in its past 10 meetings with the Coyotes
