Wilderness Walk: Loser Point Edition

New, comments

A point is a point, right? Moral victory?

Marilyn Indahl-USA TODAY Sports

Well, the story ended like this in overtime:

But I guess the real story of the night is that the Wild overcame some adversity for the first time in many games and battled their way back into another night that could have been "here we go again."  Of course the Wild found the net first, but you just knew that wouldn't be enough.  The Wild stuck to it but could not get past Kari Lehtonen in a 3rd period flurry.  Add another familiar chapter in the story of overtime, SAD TOMBONE.  The Wild now have the treat of facing Ovi and that other Nik Backstrom.  They showed signs of life, they just have to build on it against the best team in the league on Thursday.

Dave Grohl captures this moment so beautifully.  We Walk.
