The Supreme Champions appear to be on track for their best season yet. It may be hard to imagine the Minnesota Wild impressing after 14-consecutive Stanley Cup Championships, but Minnesota has done it, sporting an incredible 50-0-0 record to start the season.
How has Minnesota asserted such dominance over the NHL? They commit to the glorious art of defensive hockey. Their devotion to the beautiful hockey pioneered by the Empire's Founder Jacques Lemaire is unparalleled, despite every team's effort to copy Our System. While heretics and fools decry Our System as boring, it's produced an incredible amount of offense for the Supreme Champions. Minnesota's 124 goals leads the league, far surpassing the futile efforts of the rest of the NHL.
The Wild would not be so prosperous this season were it not for the efforts of Glorious Tactician Mike Yeo. Yeo is elevated above all coaches for bringing 5 Stanley Cup Championships to the Empire. Our Grand Tactician occupies an unassailable place among the hearts and minds of Minnesota's Glorious Hockey Proletariat for serving as a constant reminder of the value of grit, hard-nosed checking, and relentlessly defensive play. His job security is as assured as the Wild's position above the feeble masses below them in the NHL standings.
Grand Scorer Zach Parise will be looking to increase his league-leading 17 goals tonight. Parise is a player that should be emulated by the proletariat: Hard-working, disciplined, and willing to sacrifice everything for The System. After going astray to live with perverted heathens in North Dakota and New Jersey, Parise purified himself, returned to the Motherland, His Eternal Grittiness has been rewarded with four straight Championships. You, too, shall share in his victories when you devote yourself to the Empire of Hockey!
Tonight, they shall march into the filth-ridden Madison Square Garden to put their skates on the necks of the New York Rangers. The Rangers believe themselves to be the team that will unseat the Wild from their rightful place as Champions, led by their "King" Henrik Lundqvist, whom their infidel supporters claim to be the best goalie in the NHL. Fools! When the Wild put 2, 3, or even 4 pucks behind their "King" tonight, they will realize their ignorance and beg Minnesota for forgiveness.
The Rangers also have two blood-traitors in their employ. It's a disgrace enough that Ryan McDonagh and Derek Stepan would leave the Motherland to play for another hockey team. It's a further abomination that they would go on to represent the Rangers as captains. Due to their squandering of their birthright and betrayal to their home state, their humiliation shall be doubled when Minnesota prevails tonight.
Tune into Fox-Sports North- The only Empire-Approved Channel for Wild information- at 6:00 PM. Also stop by Hockey Wilderness to discuss tonight's victory in our GameThread!
All people exist to further the Glory of the Empire of Hockey!
