Wilderness Walk:Big Night Edition

It was a drama filled evening around the NHL, with nothing but positives for the Minnesota Wild.

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

The Wild completed their season-sweep of the Chicago Blackhawks in fine fashion on home ice.   The Avalanche further dashed their already slim playoff hopes with a loss to the Blues.  The Predators dropped their contest with the Stars and sunk ever-close to the Wild.  And then there was this:

Last night had its ugly moments, but like so  many recent games, the Wild overcame all of the adversity thrown their way.  Depth scoring led the way (though can this third line really be considered depth scoring anymore?) as Erik Haula increased his point streak to 9 games as he continues to be the active point streak leader in the NHL with a goal.  Nino Niederreiter added an empty netter after being denied earlier by Scott Darling.  Even Jarret Stoll got in on the party.  It was a fine night for the Wild, who are now all but guaranteed a playoff spot.

Just how hot is Erik Haula?  My goodness:

There is nothing but happiness today, so here's a video of Christopher Walken dancing for your Walk:
