Last Game:

The Minnesota Wild took an early 2-0 lead against the Dallas Stars in the first after Mikael Granlund and Jordan Schroeder scored. Johnny Oduya made it 2-1 going into second. The second was fairly even with no goals and then the third period really opened up the scoring. Jamie Benn made it 2-2, Nino Niederreiter made it 3-2, Jason Spezza made it 3-3, Alex Goligoski made it 4-3, Mikko Koivu tied it 4-4 and eventually got the OT game winner.

Match-up Preview:

Tonight is do or die for the Wild again. If they lose their season is over and they will be playing golf extra early this year. The Wild will have a better chance at winning if they follow these tips for success: Score first, Hold a lead, Capitalize on the power play, don't give up goals on the PK and keep most of the possession. Easy enough right? They pulled it off Friday night in Dallas hopefully, they can pull it off again tonight at Xcel Energy Center.
