Wilderness Walk: MURICA

Team America rounded out its pre-exhibition exhibition schedule with a win against Kaptain Koivu, Mike Granlund, Erik Holler (according to Steve Levy) and Team Finland

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

We've had a lot of fun at the expense of Wild players who are from Finland that play the Center Ice position led by the pronunciation of their names from play-by-play announcers.  We've gotten to know Micko Koiview and Michael Grohnlund quite well over the years.  But last night ESPN announcer Steve Levy introduced us to a new name, Erik Holler, to complete the trilogy of Finnesota Wild Center name mispronunciations.  Steve Levy can also be remembered for this (thanks Joe) :

And the Finns clawed their way back into a game that saw them down 3-0 after 2 periods, so all in all it was an enjoyable game, especially with the final 2 minutes of the game coming with a 6-on-4 power play with a chance to tie it for Finland.  It just wouldn't go.

Here's one of the greatest music videos of the 2000s, full of 80s nostalgia :)
