Wilderness Walk - Team Europe goes Oh, Canada wins #WCOF2016

Honestly, I didn’t watch much of the game (that’s for you Jack). So I’ll leave the big analysis for those that saw more than Canada score 2 goals late in the 3rd period to win. Of course, this means Minnesota Wild forward Nino Niederreiter will find his way to training camp, sporting a shiny new silver medal. Did they hand out medals at the tourney? It doesn’t really matter.

Of course, the Wild had their 3rd preseason game last night up at the wall, dropping a second consecutive game by the score of 4-1. Should have been 5-1 actually, but due to there being a lack of video review one of the Jets goals never happened despite it clearly beating Darcy Kuemper. It was plain as day even in real-time, so I’m not sure how the stripes missed that one.

There’s just 3 preseason games remaining for your Minnesota Wild! The season is fast approaching. Lets get right into it though. A little UM to get your Friday started right.
