Wilderness Walk: Do or Die

New, comments

The Wild are on the brink.

NHL: Stanley Cup Playoffs-Minnesota Wild at St. Louis Blues Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

The Wild face elimination tonight against the St. Louis Blues. Credit to the Blues, they have kept the games to the style that has best suited their strengths as a team and the Wild have been unable to find away to impose their will on their rivals. Pressure is surely mounting on the players to find a way to solve Jake Allen. Even if the Wild manage to get a win on the road in St. Louis, they have to be perfect for the rest of the series. It’s possible, and we’ve seen some pretty great heroics from this team when their back is against the wall, but it is a tall order. Time for some players to step up under pressure.
