Let’s go over some news and notes:
- The Wild lost to the Flames again last night. It wasn’t great. The roller coaster ride continues. [Hockey Wilderness]
- Jason Zucker might be back a lot sooner than anyone could have imagined a few weeks ago. [Pioneer Press]
- Greg Pateryn is finally coming back soon. The Wild activated him from IR yesterday, so it may not be long before he makes his season debut.
NEWS: The #mnwild has activated defenseman Greg Pateryn from Injured Reserve and reassigned defenseman Matt Bartkowski to the @IAWild.

Off the trail...
- The NHL is evidently concerned about players skipping the meaningless All-Star Game. Pretty weird thing to be concerned about. [ESPN]
- Logan Couture is hurt, so it feels pretty safe to say the Sharks are basically dead in the water this season. [The Hockey News]
- Pekka Rinne scored a goalie goal last night!
For the first time since 2013... WE HAVE A GOALIE GOAL.
