Let’s go over some news and notes:

- Now that we know the Wild will be hosting the 2021 NHL Winter Classic, which team should they face off against? [Hockey Wilderness]

- The Wild wasted no time getting into the outdoor spirit since the announcement of the Winter Classic. They practice outside in St. Louis Park yesterday. [Star Tribune]

- Trades have occurred! The Sabres traded our old friend Marco Scandella to the Canadiens for a fourth-round pick. [Eyes On The Prize]

- In a corresponding move, the Sabres acquired Michael Frolik from the Flames for the fourth-round pick they received from Montreal. [Matchsticks & Gasoline]

- The Habs also sent Mike Reilly to the Senators for a fifth-round pick. [Silver Seven]
