We’re almost there, hockey fans.
On New Year’s Eve, the Minnesota Wild announced their schedule for their 2020-21 training camp, slated to start January 4th at TRIA Rink at Treasure Island Center in St. Paul, as well as the roster of camp participants.

The 41-player roster includes offseason acquisitons Nick Bjugstad, Nick Bonino, Marcus Johansson and Cam Talbot, Wild prospects like Mason Shaw, Calen Addison and 2020 first-round draft pick Marco Rossi, and marks the training camp debut of Kirill Kaprizov.
Matthew Boldy, who is currently shining on the international stage, will head back to Boston College after finishing his stint with Team USA at the World Juniors, and was not included on the 2021 camp roster.
All camp practices and scrimmages will be open to the media, but closed to the public due to COVID concerns. The scrimmages will however be streamed live via the Minnesota Wild’s YouTube channel on Friday, January 8th and Sunday, January 10th, with KFAN 100.3 FM radio broadcasting the scrimmage on January 8th.
