Let’s go over some news and notes:

- Kirill Kaprizov probably won’t play for the Wild this season, and if the 2020-21 season doesn’t start in time, he could spend another year in the KHL. Everything sucks. [Hockey Wilderness]

- The virtual Wild won their regular-season home finale, so that’s pretty fun and nice. [Hockey Wilderness]

- Mikko Koivu is close to retiring. How will the Wild replace him? By simply drafting his clone, that’s how. [Hockey Wilderness]

- Breezer has a chance to win best team dog in the NHL, and if you don’t vote for him, you are a coward.

Off the trail...

- The American Hockey League has officially cancelled the remainder of the 2019-20 season. [AHL]

- The Bruins gave Jaroslav Halak a new contract, and fellow Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask isn’t at all bummed about it. [ESPN]

- It’s sounding like the Avalanche could be dawning some Nordiques sweaters soon, which would be pretty awesome. [NHL]
