Let’s go over some news and notes:

- Nothing is confirmed yet, but it sure is sounding like Mikko Koivu’s playing days with the Wild are over. [Hockey Wilderness]

- If the Wild want a bona fide top-line center, they’ll probably have to draft one. But based on the player development we’ve seen from the Wild recently, things will need some significant changes. [Zone Coverage]

- Alex Killorn laid a pretty dirty hit on Brock Nelson last night, and it wouldn’t be shocking if he ends up being suspended for a game or two. [NBC Sports]

- What will the 2020-21 season look like? Bill Daly sheds some light on the situation. [The Athletic]

- Speaking of which, the Lightning now lead their series against the Islanders 2-0 thanks to some late-game heroics from Nikita Kucherov.
